At Lyndridge Care, we pride ourselves on offering services as diverse and individual as our clients, so it is vital that the people at the forefront of our service delivery embrace our ideals and strive to achieve the highest possible standards of care and support. We enable all of our staff's continuous self development through job specific training programmes delivered via the NVQ scheme and through RedCrier distance learning, and will shortly be commencing an exciting new E-learning induction course for new employees. We value training so highly that it is a condition of employment with us that new staff undertake a minimum NVQ2 within 6 months of commencing work with Lyndridge. We offer NVQ training free of charge to all employees, subject to Terms and Conditions. Over the past 2 years, our Training Manager, Dee Lane, has assisted over 80% of current employees to achieve NVQ's 2, 3 and 4 in care, in addition to 6 staff members attaining the Registered Managers Award, including herself. We are always keen to talk to people considering a career in care or support. All you need is empathy with the needs and requirements of the client group, a flexible and willing attitude and the desire to learn and really make a difference. A full driving licence would be appeciated but is not a pre-requisite. All applicants will be subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Board and POVA check and at least two satisfactory written references. For an informal chat or to request an application form and job specification, please telephone our main office on 01837-54782.
